Notre Maison est la première à faire de la maroquinerie l'incarnation de cet esprit de fantaisie. Bien plus qu'un patrimoine, c'est une philosophie de vie qui infuse notre créativité et fait notre panache.
La fantaisie Lancel s'exprime dans le caractère précieux de nos créations, portée par le savoir-faire maroquinier et notre goût pour la surprise. S’offrir un Lancel à nul autre pareil. Un sac dont il n’existe et n’existera jamais qu’un seul exemplaire : le vôtre. Mieux qu’un souhait, un rêve réalisé par notre Maison qui propose à ses clients des Éditions uniques de ses modèles. Entièrement confectionnées à la main par une artisane talentueuse et toujours inspirée, ces pièces d’exception naissent de la rencontre entre un savoir-faire séculaire, des lignes remarquables et des cuirs précieux directement sourcés parmi les trésors de notre Atelier. Car Lancel est l’une des très rares Maisons françaises de maroquinerie à accueillir un atelier de prototypage au cœur même de son siège parisien, un luxe qui lui permet de réaliser sur place ses propres créations et de réinventer ses modèles dans de sublimes versions inédites.
Cuir d’autruche bleu glacé, truite émeraude ou python rose, lisse, métallisé, verni ou mat, tout est matière à métamorphose et les possibilités sont d’autant plus infinies que l’audace est de mise. En permettant aux femmes de s’offrir d’un Lancel de collection et à Lancel d’offrir un destin à ses merveilles en sommeil – précieuse façon de lutter contre la déperdition, l’unique orchestré par la Maison a tout bon.

A constellation of leatherwork stars available in countless different forms thanks to Lancel’s craftsmanship. The Maison even boasts its own workshop for producing prototypes: a thousand and one leather bound dreams spring straight from the design studio’s imagination, known for its great freedom and artistry. Far from being a gimmick, this traduction arises from a genuine relationship with Lancel’s clientele, prompting the Maison to use the finest leathers – such as buffalo or alligator – and the most striking colors. And inspiring it to come up with secret pockets, to adapt to clients’ needs and to suit every conceivable requirement and occasion. Lancel has always had a knack for this luxury.
